erNEST Kelly

Ernest D. Kelly is a New Orleans, Louisiana native. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Louisiana Tech University, 1978.


He has been the owner and operator of Ernest D. Kelly, LLC Accounting Firm for over 30 years; Owner and director of International Concrete Forms, South Africa GEM Water Management Solutions (PTY) LTD and Ghana Investment Group, LLC Ernest has served on the Board of Directors for the World Trade Center, New Orleans; Algiers Economic Development Foundation; Louisiana Small Business Advisory & Committee; Tulane University’s A. B. Freeman School of Business Committee of Academy & Entrepreneurship and House of Ruth providing housing and support for homeless families.

Ernest D. Kelly Producer has over 40 years of entertainment production experience in the USA, Jamaica and Africa. He is founder of the International Arts Foundation; Executive Producer International Arts Festival New Orleans 1987-2005; International Arts Festival; Houston, Texas 1997; Durban One World Festival 2005-2008; Africa Umoja 2013 USA, Africa Umoja 2014 USA Tour, Africa Umoja 2018 USA Tour; the Jamaica’s Reggae Sunplash 1987-1992 and the Ghana World Music Festival in 2018 and 2019. Ernest has to date, led 14 delegations of businesses, government officials, educators, tourist and international music stars to South Africa, Ghana, Zimbabwe, and Zambia. 

 

Ernest was extremely instrumental in the linking of New Orleans, America’s most African and multicultural city, with Durban, South Africa in 2004 and Cape Coast, Ghana in 2019 in a Sister City Agreements.
