These festivals and concerts are used as a tool to stimulate economic development and discourse between New Orleans and its sister city, Durban. IAF and SAIG also use their invaluable experience to promote cultural and educational exchange between the two cities and with the country of South Africa as a whole.”

International Arts Festival of New Orleans -- More Than a Concert The International Arts Festival is more than a concert; it’s a three-day celebration of diverse cultures exposing a potpourri of creative natives from New Orleans, Cuba, Brazil, Honduras, the Caribbean and Africa. Their communities represent the influences that designate New Orleans the most unique city in the nation.
